M&C Saatchi Performance shortlisted at The Drum Digital Advertising Awards

We’ve been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s The Drum Digital Advertising Awards Europe, formerly The Drum Digital Trading Awards. The first nomination is in the Omni-Channel category for our ‘Smart Home Store’ campaign with EDF Energy. The second nomination is for the biggest award of the night, Media Agency of the Year.
The Omni-Channel category looks to celebrate campaigns that have demonstrated how they have bought and implemented a multi-channel campaign. EDF Energy came to our agency to expand their brand – looking to launch themselves into the smart home space. Using a cross-channel digital media strategy, we were tasked with supporting the launch of the store, bringing awareness to the products and their uses, and generating sales with a campaign. As digital natives, with a heritage in mobile, we were perfectly placed to reach and resonate with the always-on, device and location agnostic consumer through a multi-channel campaign.
Our campaign with EDF Energy follows a year of change at M&C Saatchi Performance where we have evolved our services and name to better reflect what we provide for our clients. Our ability to adapt and grow with the industry is part of why we have been nominated for media agency of the year. The Drum Digital Advertising Awards, recognise and highlight the best examples of digital advertising in practice. Now in its 6th year, the programme is one of the most respected and sought-after accolades in the industry.
