We’re proud of our Indonesian team bringing home 3 awards at this year’s Smarties Indonesia Awards by MMA. A special thanks to the jury for recognizing our innovative work for Grab Indonesia. The 3 awarded categories were:
BRAND PURPOSE / ACTIVISM
This award went to Grab’s Bersatu campaign. Grab wanted to collect covid frontline donations at scale. The campaign successfully achieved what thousands of other crowdfunding donation drives did not – massive scale in a very short time. This was super-simple technology (a promo code!) bringing together people for a higher purpose and breaking all donation records in the process.
This award was recognized to the Millions of Firsts, Millions of new Beginnings campaign which managed to turn Grab’s CSR reports into the most shared reports of the year. Thanks to the initiative and the campaign, millions of Grab users had a newfound appreciation that their everyday orders could create a real difference in millions of lives of drivers and small business orders.
LONG FORM VIDEO
This title was recognized to the Percaya campaign which aimed at gathering donations to support Indonesian SMEs to persevere through the pandemic. Exceeding by far targets, the Percaya campaign had a tangible impact on the Indonesian market and the money gathered helped several SMEs in need.
