M&C Saatchi Performance named as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work 2019!

Campaign has unveiled its annual Best Places to Work which lists the top agencies for employees. We are pleased to announce that we have been chosen as one of best places to work in the media industry! Culture is an integral part of M&C Saatchi Performance and having this recognised is a huge accomplishment for everyone at our agency.

This year we have pioneered new initiatives that have continued to build on the culture which has been fostered since 2006. Originally just 3 people in a small office in Farringdon, we have grown to 150 global employee’s spanning 11 offices world-wide. While the scale has grown, the spirit of the agency has stayed the same. Many who were there at the beginning are still with us today, while others have developed from interns to managerial roles.

Retaining people at our agency comes down to a successful working environment. To promote this, our staff enjoy benefits that not only make work enjoyable but also improve wellbeing in the long term. Fitness is encouraged with cycle to work schemes, subsidised gym memberships, and even experiments with intense circuit training (F45). Along with physical health, mental health is a top priority. We have invested in mindfulness classes, yoga, and stress management training. This, along with our daily doses of fruit and access to health care subsidies, gives everyone the opportunity for a healthy lifestyle.

Part of wellbeing is maintaining a work life balance. Our flexible working hours, early Friday finish, and seasonal holidays make this possible. For every year employed our staff gain an extra holiday. Beyond this, we make sure the time spent at work is matched with fun breaks. There are monthly social activities all inspired by our core values. In between these, every other week each team creates an array of themed Friday cocktails with the best winning a prize. Throughout the year, quarterly parties are hosted culminating in an infamous Christmas party.

While the office has its fun social aspects, we make sure it’s supported by an ability to work hard. From extensive training, to regular appraisals, to working with some of the best in the industry, every employee is pushed to reach their professional goals. This work hard play hard helps produce the best work for both our clients and the individual.
