GoGo Soho Campaign with M&C Saatchi London

GoGo Soho Campaign with M&C Saatchi London

After a long stay away, our London team is slowly returning to the head office of M&C Saatchi Performance in Soho. Meeting many faces that may have only been seen over zoom, our team have been making their way down Carnaby Street to return to the M&C Saatchi office in Golden Square. This much-loved area of London has sadly seen some of it’s more iconic businesses hit by the pandemic and as long-standing fans of many of these spots, we launched an advertising campaign to do something about it.

To drive people back to Soho, M&C Saatchi London launched an exciting pro-bono advertising campaign to showcase over twenty independent businesses that are favourites for those of us who work here. The ‘GoGo Soho’ campaign featured local places from the historic John Snow pub to the Bread Ahead Bakery to Sister Ray Record Shop – you can see all the businesses over on the GoGo Soho website. Their spotlight designs were displayed across some of the busiest locations in London while the ‘GoGo Soho’ messaging covered our office.

We worked alongside M&C Saatchi London and our sister agencies to get the message out. With the help of generous partners such as AdYouLike and TimeOut, we were able to run dynamic and engaging creatives across their sites. You may have also seen the campaign in London newspapers like the Metro with all combining to bring the ‘GoGo Soho’ message to over half a million people. From display, to publications, to apps, we wanted to reach Londoners where they spend their time today to remind them of what they could look forward to as the city opens once more.

While we worked on the campaign, our team shared their own thoughts on what places in Soho were they’re favourites. Becki Shaw, Executive Assistant, has a soft spot for the Sun & 13 Cantons Pub which she can often be found standing outside on a Friday night – rain or shine. Joe Kay, Global Operations Executive, has only moved to London a few months ago but has already found love at the bottom of a ramen bowl thanks to Tonkotsu on Dean Street. Megan Price, Junior Manager – Buying, has taken her lockdown cycling ‘hobby’ to new levels by spending her time at Rapha’s Cycling Shop and Cafe on Brewer Street.
