What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Global Marketing Team to grow the agency’s revenue. You will be responsible for supporting the Global Marketing Manager in the strategic development and creation of marketing materials. This includes testing new content formats, ensuring materials support overall business priorities and meets the highest agency standards.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for, and an understanding of what makes standout content, with the ability to turn this into compelling stories.

The ultimate goal is to place the agency front of mind when brands are seeking new mobile marketing support. Therefore, you must have an instinct for what our audiences are looking for, the ability to use internal insights/data and external trends to deliver engaging marketing materials.

We’re seeking someone that can find new angles in industry news and/or internal data and apply an M&C Saatchi Performance angle to add value and ‘pull’ audiences to the agency.

This is a new role that will elevate the awareness of M&C Saatchi Performance amongst industry leaders and the marketing press.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Use internal insights and external trends to develop content ideas. These will be aligned with overall marketing strategies and business priorities.
  • Working with the Insights team and Global Marketing Manager to identify ‘gaps’ in the content strategy, then develop ideas for content that will raise awareness of M&C Saatchi Performance above the competition.
  • Keeping up to date with industry news to ‘spot’ potential stories
  • Copywriting professional, modern and slick content including blog articles, reports, infographics videos etc.
  • Developing video ideas or other content formats that tell unique stories.
  • Briefing the creative team to produce content that bring your ideas to life and delivers engagement from the industry and potential clients.
  • Working with internal thought leaders to develop content used in webinars, panels, events and speaking opportunities.
  • Writing highly engaging newsletters for potential clients and partner companies
  • Working with the Global Marketing Manager to develop PR ideas aligned to content.
  • Ensuring that all marketing materials are on brand and accurate.

What are the requirements of the role?

  • At least 3 years of marketing or content creation experience. Proven PR, content strategy and copywriting skills are essential.
  • Experience running Digital Marketing Campaigns
  • An understanding of PR and the marketing news cycle, a ‘nose’ for what makes the news.
  • A desire to find new ways to deliver content, always seeking new formats to test and learn from
  • A solid understanding of the digital ecosystem
  • Fluent in the technical landscape of digital/performance media
  • Results driven, with a desire to test, learn and evaluate results
  • Strong written and verbal communication and people skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal teams.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially ppt, excel. HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a media, content or PR agency preferred.
