An ad transparency tool by Facebook – could marketing dreams be coming true?

Our Senior Biddable Manager, Jonathan Yantz, spoke with Marketing Land about the possibility of a new Facebook “clearing-house solution,” offering expert insight on why the tool is necessary and what it could do for the industry at large.
It’s clear that there is a gap to be filled when it comes to greater ad transparency for brands and more accountability in terms of measurement, so it’s encouraging to see moves being made by the giant. Yantz said, “For Facebook, working with a trusted industry name such as Comscore or Nielsen, as referenced by [Facebook’s VP of ads Mark Rabkin] at CES, could go a long way in establishing the renewed trust in the market”.
