What will you be responsible for?
- Build strong, sustainable relationships with partners.
- Identify opportunities by continuously reviewing the market landscape, identifying developing partnerships etc.
- Support your line manager and the wider business with creative ideas and research for new business pitches when required.
- Maintain a solid understanding of client’s businesses and their competitors to make recommendations to clients and planning teams which drive change.
- Work with internal teams such as media planners to deliver innovative responses to briefs.
- Educate and inform internal teams and clients on new and existing publisher deals/packages.
- Filter packages and negotiate to get packages that fit the client needs.
- Negotiate competitive rates and exceed client expectations and revenue growth.
- Ability to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail in order to manage all partners.
- Make sure that all suppliers are registered with the necessary legal documentation completed and signed.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure prompt and timely payments to partners.
- Stay informed about the important events in the market.
What are the requirements of the role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in media partnerships or related field (Preferably in an agency ecosystem.)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships with digital publishers/suppliers.
- Depth knowledge of digital ecosystem in India is a must. Primarily experience working with local digital publishers (short video, entertainment, news apps)
- Having an understanding of collaborations between publishers, sponsorships on TV and radio, influencer marketing, DOOH (digital out-of-home advertising), product placement, and advertiser-supported content can be a strong advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to Bangalore.
